Well I am not sure what the expectations are since they are completely off book now
I was under the impression that it was a limited series, so season 2 existing at all defies my expectations.
Why would they be off the book? Ieyasu Tokugawa lived a full life with a lot more to talk about
Maybe they’re returning to the source!
Idk how I feel about this as absolutely jaw droppingly beautiful and concise as they made se1.
I’ll give it a fair shake. But I’ve been burned by many shows that were supposed to be one and done.
I was not expecting a 2nd season so they’re already wildly successful
Looking forward to it!
Season 1 was great. I will be checking out S2.
