Second day back at work, called into boss’s office and told they’re not renewing my contract into a permanent role. Two years at this workplace, pushing myself to my absolute limit, but I guess because I don’t regularly work past 5 (coming in well before anyone else mind you), I’m not keeping my job.

Leaving the gym earlier, there was a ridiculous line (easy 100 people deep) waiting to get into the crowded indoor pools that are part of the complex. Having to wait for people to leave before letting a new group in. The line snaked around outside too, all these people waiting in the heat for crowds and craziness. No thank you.
At that point, stand in the shower.
That’s absolutely crazy. It seems like a great idea, but a line like that would have me scurrying for a library, shopping centre, gym, etc!
That was last week at Brimbank Aquatic centre…we went to work out and the lineup was bonkers.
This is the exact centre I’m talking about. It is bonkers on hot days, but I do enjoy walking right in to the cool gym while looking at the poor sods sweating it out lining up for the pool.
Ha!!! Wonder how many times we’ve been there at the same time.
