Darren Michael, associate professor at Austin Peay State University, has reportedly been reinstated and given $500,000 after being fired over posts about assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Tennessee’s WKRN News 2 obtained a copy of a settlement agreement between Michael and the university, showing the school will dish out $500,000 and reimburse “therapeutic counseling services.”
APSU agrees to issue a statement acknowledging regret for not following the tenure termination process in connection with the Dispute,”
They don’t regret firing him for no reason. They regret getting in trouble for not following the established process before firing him.
Wow, sounds like they’re only sorry that they didn’t fire him the right way. And all over sharing an article without adding any comment.
Well, I for one, am glad Kirk is no longer spewing vile hatred anymore.
Oh, and there’s this thing called freedom of speech.
Also, grow thicker skin. Sticks and stones and all that crap. I swear these conservatives never matured past their pre teens. Which is why they love sleeping with pre teens.
So how long are they required to employ him before they’re allowed to find some other pretext to get rid of him? How hostile is his work environment going to be?
