For anyone on the fence about this series (as I was, right until I saw this):
The series, created by R. Scott Gemmill, premiered in 2025 and tells the story of healthcare workers inside a Pittsburgh emergency room over the course of 15 episodes. Each season has taken course over one shift, with each episode covering an hour of the shift.
Immediately sold, starting as soon as I’m home.
It’s like 24, and instead of a crazy counter-terrorism guy you have a more charismatic House guy.
Get ready for quite the ride. Season 1 is phenomenal, I binged the entire thing then binged it again with my wife.
Really good show. Psyched for season 2. Be warned though, there is a pretty graphic childbirth scene.
You’re warning him about the childbirth scene but not about the degloving injury? 😱
I am pretty sure S2 starts tonight.
S1 was great.
Michael Crichton’s wife has got to be seething right now
Honestly I’m glad she was obstinate. I don’t know that I would’ve watched a new ER season/spinoff, but I watched The Pitt and loved it.
