Text asks: “You have the power to reverse the death of one movie character. Who do you save?”
In boxes below the text are the options of Bambi’s mother from Bambi, Gwen Stacy from The Amazing Spider-Man, Old Yeller from the movie of the same name, John Coffey from the Green Mile, Artax from The Neverending Story, Thomas J. Sennett from My Girl, Mufasa from The Lion King and Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy.
I’d say this list is missing Littlefoot’s mom and Wash at least.
But if I’m stuck with the options from the meme, Thomas J has to come first given that Artax returns at the end of the movie.
Yeah, losing Wash still hurts.
John Coffey every time.
My choice as well. Also, one of the most crushing deaths of film history. Something about an innocent, immeasurably gentle giant, accepting their fate and walking without any anger or attempt to resist, to be murdered by hate-filled monsters.
Describing it like that, it resembles the story of Jesus’ murder a lot. Observing this as a non-religious person…
Ruffio, Ruffio, Ruffiooooo!
I’d save Mary Poppins y’all
“Come A Little Bit Closer” plays in the background.
None of these, Bruce Willis in the sixth sense.
Artax every time.
Old Yeller, but only if that meant his rabies was removed. Otherwise Artax.
I’m old enough to remember each of them vividly, but it’s gotta be Mary Poppins ;-) (Though I’d also be torn if Wash had been on the list, NGL)
2000’s
2000s
2000”s
Thomas J 😭😭😭 (this was my very first tv heartbreak moment, I’ve suffered A LOT)
Hitler. It would certainly make a WW2 movie more interesting if he SomehowReturnedTM
