    Teeth are basically mouth rocks so it counts.

      Mammoth tooth is what my uncle who found it has always said. I have it in at my shop, and a couple of years ago a paleontologist came In and I showed him, he agreed, mammoth tooth. Much more than that I do not know.

      I should get my ass in gear and take it to the geology department at the university in town.

    That tooth is very Rock like so it could easily be mistaken for a rock.

    Then again, how certain are you that it’s actually a tooth, and not just a tooth-shaped rock?
