    Doesn’t seem very reliable given the sheer amount of “sources say” but no named source corroboration. And any ambitious high ranking PSUV cadre would be chomping at the bit to denounce some traitors publicly if that were the case. I think it’s more likely the Guardian is just using the fact that Americans just learned a third Venezuelan name after Chavez and Maduro.

    I disagree, the Guardian has a pattern of performing leftist aesthetics while supporting western hegemony every time, hell they’re even bad on trans issues

    Very interesting. The sources are all at langley no doubt so who the hell knows what the truth is. The tenor of the conversation could also be very different… I could see a call going like “we are going to get him, and if you don’t work with us you’re next” or something like that.

    We will never know. Definitely the case it seems that the admin favors Rodriguez just based on the commentary post raid (before rodriguez’s speech) and the hilarious and sudden friend zoning of Machado. Like Epstein this one gets filed away in the black marble mazes of state secrets.
