You probably want to subscribe to this feed: ~blaze_eu@piefed.social
Doing that will automatically join you to the following communities:
!buyeuropean@feddit.uk
!buyfromeu@feddit.org
!buyfromeu@europe.pub
!europe@lemmy.dbzer0.com
I really hope this platform kicks off, finding alternatives to USA based platform is always welcomed!
Maybe I should edit it to only keep the first 3
Test
Seems reasonable, as ~europe@piefed.social already seems to do a good job being a general purpose European feed. :)
Done!
We need an app.
I haven’t checked out Android options yet but on my iPad I’m loving Blorp. I like how easy it makes it to switch between all the various lemmy and piefed instances.
It’s actually mildly disappointing because I prefer the app to viewing the websites themselves, but can’t use it on desktop!
Blorp dev here. Have you tried Blorp on web? https://blorpblorp.xyz/. There’s also a build of Blorp for macOS, though admittedly it doesn’t offer much that web doesn’t.
I didn’t know about Blorp on web, gonna check that out now, thanks, and I appreciate the awesome app!
I’m using Boost personally (others work as well like Interstellar, …) or you can download the piefed app on the site
You can add a website to home screen. It works as an app
This is fantastic. Happy to partake in this with everyone. I uninstalled my Reddit app finally, done with it.
Welcome!
That post on Reddit hit over 130,000 views.
Have we seen a lot of new accounts here over the last ~48h ?
The development is even clearer when hiding halfyear active users:

Whoa
…Also feel free to donate. The developer(s) are almost literally working for peanuts!

Hell yea, let’s keep it going!!
Yes. Piefed monthly user activity has increased by 250+ in 2 days.
Welcome! Have a good time! If you happen to speak German you may want to take a look at !digitales_weichenstellen@piefed.social
a brand new community about reducing digital dependencies on US/Big Tech. I started it but it’ll go nowhere without…becoming a community. It’s in German in order to also be a low-threshold offer for people new to the subject, e. g. curious because of the Digital Independence Day initiative.Cool!
I’ve just added that community to https://lemmy-federate.com/ which will help it get more activity. Keep posting!
Oh, thank you very much, that’s very kind of you! <br>
When I created the community I also unchecked the !newcommunities@lemmy.world -box. I will make a post there & suggest that people, who don’t speak German rather block the community than limit languages because of it & miss out on memes or sth.
Happy to be here
