What they have in common is wanting to destroy a system they completely depend upon in the delusional hope that something better will arise from the ashes.
You are quite right that the labor aristocracy benefits from imperialism, but the global south does not, and the internationalists within the empire that wish to establish socialism and end imperialism aren’t just hoping socialism magically appears, but are organizing for the sake of doing so.
