I don’t know if others may feel that this is that much of a problem and even worth discussing but I do so I’m going to go on a little tangent. Just… a little.
If you don’t use the app for a while(more than an hour, maybe less?) and then use Connect again, some things will be out of date until you do different things. You may notice that the timestamp or votes on comments or posts will be frozen and show the same time that it did when you last used the app. And sometimes just refreshing the post or feed will fix it, sometimes you have to reopen the app.
Basically, any post or comment you’ve interacted with may have outdated info and may not be updated until the next time the app is reopened. That info could be the timestamp, the vote count, and event the content itself, if edits to the post/comment was made.
Like sometimes I’ll see a post or comment that I’ve interacted with hours ago and the vote count and timestamp will be off because it got cached while the other comments in the same post, or other posts, have noticeably different times and vote counts.
Compounding this issue is that switching to another account and then switching back will result in some activity not being resumed. Let’s say you upvoted a post prior to switching, it may no longer show as being upvoted when you go back to first account. Refreshing the feed doesn’t rectify it, viewing the post and then refreshing still won’t, you need to go back to the community view and then it will update. Same thing if you saved a post and then switch.
FYI, for testing the switching account issues, selecting the same account you’re logged into as the account to switch to seems to involve the same process; so you can do that to test with less hassle.
I think my main gripe with the issues discussed is that refreshing a post or feed view does not do a full refresh and pull the current post or feed. My hope is that it will be changed to do so. It would make things more predictable and be less work than tweaking the caching system.

I have the same annoyance. Opening the app again, at some point in my scroll I find several posts in a row on which I cannot vote, I get “post not found”. Entering the post to see the comments, I can vote on the post. It’s irritating.
I’ve had that but not recently. What version are you on? And just to confirm, you’re not using offline mode right?
I’ve never heard of offline mode, do I don’t think so! I was on 405 I think. I got the drift database migration button a few times, migrated a few times, still get it. I dunno.
