So for the first 100 or so hours I’ve played of this game I was mostly in PvE servers with the occasional PvP experience. This last week I’ve been constantly PvP’d while trying to complete quests. If the PvE servers are being disbanded, I guess I’ve gotten my value for the money I’ve spent but I’m likely done with this game at this point. I don’t have the time to fight sweaty PvP players every round, I don’t enjoy it. I prefer the Terminator story to the Mad Max one. I’m happy to potter through my quests and fight arc, but I can’t do that anymore. I don’t have the skill for PvP, nor the personal inclination for it.
I’ve also been killed by a bunch of people grouping in Solo where a few players make a coordinated effort to kill me, they’re all wearing the same uniform.

A bit late perhaps but are you aware of the aggression based matchmaking?
I think that it still works well to do pacifist raids from time to time to avoid getting in too much PvP.
That’s the whole reason I bought the game. Then I got pvp’d a dozen times over two days without ever firing a shot back.
Not even shooting people at extract (just before leaving)?
Anyway I didn’t notice much changing on the matchmaking. As long as I dont shoot people i get 99% friendly players. And maybe it’s 90% for the trio queue.
Didn’t fire a single bullet at people. Popped a few smoke grenades.
PvE still works for me, fwiw, but it’s been more mixed than usual
Seriously, I was put in psycho path lobbies yesterday.
Some dude downed a kid during harvester and wouldn’t defib him unless he said a slur (luckily for me I brought a rocketeer over who then triple barrage downed everyone sitting in the harvester participating in that stupid ritual)
And then after that some stupid free kit, chased me from Research and Admin to water treatment. I was willing to leave him alone but he wouldn’t give up so I eventually turned around and knocked him. I pull out my defib to rez him (and give him the lion king speech to run away and never come back) but of course he just surrenders and some dude walks by on the cat walk and calls me a rat and unloads on me. So I’m stuck in PVP lobbies all evening.
I don’t even know if they were full PVP lobbies or they just let a few aggressive raiders into PVE lobbies now because I heard so many “But I said I was friendly, why you do this?” while in PVP hell last night
