King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard because they are carrying all of the genres
Changes a lot, but Stroke 9, Susto, Tiny Victories, Hollywood Undead all come up often.
Linkin Park
Hot Mulligan or sleepmakeswaves
Alestorm! It has everything, drunk pirates, silly pirates, horny pirates, bloodlusting pirates and pizza, for reasons I guess.
They Might Be Giants
You have inspired me. I am listening to Lincoln.
King Crimson is the official answer.
But I put Tool, Meshuggah, Between the Buried and Me, and maybe Karnivool in second place.
Protest The Hero | The Aristocrats
Of course it’s kind of a situational thing, favorite band can be different depending in when it’s asked but I think Love has been the one band I never take a break from listening to and never get tired of.
Talking Heads is a very close second, and then many many more close third.
I really want to start sharing music more, but I have to find good ways to share the playlists I make.I’m one of those horrible Cardiacs people, the ones that listen to Cardiacs
I certainly hope you caught the album release last year
That’s an impossible question.
The best live shows I ever saw in my life were Fela Kuti, Henry Rollins.
Right now I love Fontaines DC, Joshua Ray Walker, Leon Bridges as recording artists.
Favorite old album is Silk Degrees, but I wouldn’t say I love Boz Scaggs, just that one album is so ridiculously good.
Favorite new album definitely Romance, Fontaines DC.
Best ‘underrated’ J Roddy Walston & the Business, their live shows and records were amazing.
Can’t say I have a favorite band though.
Between the Buried and Me is one of my favorites, as is Parkway Drive recently. Other top artists are ones like gloryhammer, Amararanthe, and Alestorm. Outside of metal, bands like Supercommuter/Optimus Rhyme, MC Frontalot, mc chris, and Captain Dan tend to be my most played
One of my favorite random artists I’ve found recently is Anthony Vincent who makes songs covers in the style of other artists, and I just can’t get enough of Mr Brightside by A7X
Nickelback.
Just kidding… NIN
It’s changed from year to year and scene to scene and phase of life to phase of life. But Pink Floyd has always been up there.
We saw them here, and yeah what a great live act!
Truly some amazing musicians, could complain about his mom dancing with his best friend to a song about depression and not miss a single note.
