Hoping to get my carpal tunnel surgeries in March and April, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to have a large garden. But I am going to start my peppers the beginning of March. Tomatoes and gourds will likely get started later as well. Probably gonna skip the stuff like carrots and other more tedious plants.

Last frost is end of May, so could have time to recover and have a decent garden when our spring hits.

I had mine 5 weeks ago, and am just starting to tolerate more work and weight. I think you’ll be able to transplant nursery sized pots by the time your last frost hits, but the heavier stuff will be more difficult.

That’ll be perfect, the wife can help me with larger stuff. She just doesn’t want everything to fall in her lap. Understandably

Most stuff other than the peppers and tomatoes would be solo cup sized.

Big garden this year. Syrup sorghum, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins, banana melons, winter squash, more flowers for the pollinators.

I did syrup sorghum last year. I wish I had way to squeeze the canes. Instead I just boiled it down but took longer than I thought it would.

I just moved my veggie patch in a sunnier spot (silly me put it in a sunny winter spot but covered in shade in summer). So I’m gonna try again this year hoping for better results: eggplants, okra, olé cucumbers, zucchinis, fennel.

I have an herb bed with different type of basil, cilantro, a volunteer pomegranate tree that I hope will grow some more, white and forest strawberries.

I’m gonna try again and again dill… So far no luck here though.

I used to live in Oregon where everything was growing so easily… now here in Italy, I can’t grow anything to save my life besides tulips, which are.really pretty but won’t feed me much.

I’m not sure if I’m moving again this summer, so I’m keeping it light: potted herbs and edible flowers, radishes, more radishes, Asian greens to eat fresh and pickle, one or two eggplants and tomatoes. Also some radishes!

Here doesn’t have the usual 4 seasons, only dry and wet season so has been planting and expanding my garden when i have the time. My bittergourd vines planted last december has been producing some gourd bit by bit, enough for me to harvest it now and then. Also roselle too, only have 3 of it and been collecting and freezing the calyx so i can cook it in one go. Harvested some shallot a few days ago.

Currently have some corn, sweet potato, and potato going, hopefully can be harvest in upcoming two months. Just planted my tomato saplings yesterday, only about half foot tall but it’s producing flower, could take some time before i can allow it to fruits.

Okay, I am going to attempt to grow cucumbers, peppers, basil, parsley and some sweet corn again this year. I am also going to trellis my raspberries and control the strawberries better this year.

Its also a major pruning year for all of my landscaping/trees. I have 2 weeks to get imlst of the spring stuff done. So of course I am procrastinating like hell right now. It’s cold outside today. I need to move somewhere tropical.

I didn’t raise a garden last year as I really didn’t have time with my business. This year I think I have it worked out that I will get things done smoother.
