On top of the mounting enshittification they’ve been undergoing in recent years: they opted in to perform age verification processes worldwide utilizing face scanning and/or ID submissions and/or data scanning to verify age.

They’ve now postponed it until later this year, but enough was enough for us.

Thats like asking if signal or whatsapp or email has many pedos. The answer is “who fucking knows”, because why would you go look for them to find out? I have never seen any except for bot spam attacks long ago in large public rooms, which was largely fixed with new auto moderation tools that have been developed over the last two or so years.
