    Many Lemmy instances block lemmygrad.ml and spread what I think is misinformation about the people here.

    I am grateful for the wide mix of news regarding this conflict from all sources, which I don’t see on communities hosted by other mainstream instances.

    Without this, I feel others are missing the full picture. Thank you.

      I think is misinformation about the people here.

      It is not just the people here. In general, Marxist-Leninists are treated like Satan in the imperial core; by other leftists and by people in general who denigrate our beliefs by summing them as “Stalinism” in a derogatory manner. As much as they irritate me and some of them deserve a solid whack; I can’t quite blame them for believing the things they do. Cold war propaganda is a hell of a drug and there’s the old joke about the CIA agent and the KGB agent.

      “I have to admit, I’m always so impressed by Soviet propaganda. You really know how to get people worked up,” the CIA agent says.

      “Thank you,” the KGB says. “We do our best but truly, it’s nothing compared to American propaganda. Your people believe everything your state media tells them.”

      The CIA agent drops his drink in shock and disgust. “Thank you friend, but you must be confused… There’s no propaganda in America.”

      Without this, I feel others are missing the full picture. Thank you.

      That’s the point. There’s plenty of those who have come here, convinced fully it was a den of “Russo-Tankie bots!1!!” and actually came to the shocking realization that we are full of people from all over the world; from the periphery and the nations of Russia, China, India, etc. The more they dismiss everything we say without contesting it…the more it begins to win people over and a “fuller picture” begins to take place.
