As a longtime OG Pixel Fold owner, god I hate the look of the camera bar. I wish google would work on their design a bit more. It’s like they took all of the hate for their “pill” style UI design and thought that the problem was just that it wasn’t more thoroughly integrated into the overall product.
I disagree, I think it’s a distinctive design that until recently made it very obvious what brand it was.
Now other manufacturers have realised the extra space is beneficial for camera tech so they’re copying the large bar, and just look at the back of the iPhone 17!
Weirdly no news yet on the rumoured FaceID that was supposedly launching with the 11 series.
I thought Pixels have had that feature? Or did that die with the 4 series? :(
They have camera faceID. The 11 was supposed to bring IR faceID similar to iPhones
