    2/4 problems are BMW problems, 1/4 problems are old engine design problems that are fixed in modern engines, and 1 physical problem is fixed by better materials and engine design.

      A v12 would be superior in that. Not sure about a boxer 6 but I think it is more stable too, should think about it or look it up.

      The article is filler. Various configurations have their upsides and downsides. This article just made the downsides of the inline six seem like showstoppers.
