This is dumb on multiple levels.
Caving to US’ silly demands would get the EU nothing but more silly demands. Methane emissions worsen health and the climate.
Those who think it’s possible to reason with Trump, or soothe him, are delusional.
The EU is large enough and has enough allies to take a harder stance against US economic and environmental threats.
Not if they want those Patriot missile systems for Ukraine.
Ukraine stopped placating Trump about a year ago, focused on their own military capacity and this strategy pays out pretty well at the moment. Which IS a monumental shift.
I mean, the US no longer supports Ukraine at all. Mission accomplished for Putin, I suppose.
