I like it but it should have a place in the foreground for the fighters to walk (unless they can levitate).

This one? No, I would have posted it with the OC tag. But I did make some pixel art, maybe I can post them as well. I was a graphics artist back in the 2D & early 3D era of computer games development.
Fighting game? I would say this is perfect for an adventure game, Roger Wilco or Ben Throttle has plenty of things to interact with here. I just want to jump in and play!
