    EFF is an amazing company. I would use Rayhunter as it’s far easier/cheaper.

    The short version is setup Rayhunter on an Orbic or Moxee devices which are found online for $30, not this $340 version unless you’re really into tracking them. Does NOT need an activated SIM, but is helpful to have that. Otherwise you’re relying on having your mobile device connected to the hotspot for alerts.

    If anyone wants to configure the NTFY alerts in RH, I would use https://ntfy.sh/rayhunter. What’s nice is I’ve been trying to work out as best I can to do some sort of generic locational info attached to notifications so that others can be on alert without needing a device setup yourself. E.g. alert in Chicago or Minneapolis would allow you to receive notifications about ICE or something, without being to technically savvy. And it helps to disregard other alerts if not in your area.
