        I don’t think the commentary will reveal much. The bones of this film aren’t too bad, and individually I think most scenes worked. But put together, without the right connective scenes, that’s where the film falls apart.

        I know there is talk of a slightly longer directors cut out there, but the scenes cut don’t sound like they’d fix the film. But some new scenes to add context, that is what we’re missing.

        The ending for example,

        Kara killing Krem. I understand the idea that she is trying to “save” Ruthye. However it doesn’t explain why. We haven’t seen Kara take on a burden any more than Ruthye. How does Kara know that revenge isn’t the answer?
