I think there has been some level of deliberate effort from reactionaries to dilute its meaning so it’s not a politically communicative insult anymore. This could have happened on its own, I just get the impression from the way I see some conservatives use it that they are doing it deliberately.
Have definitely seen reactionaries start to use “chuddies” as self descriptors.
The “fat little chud” song was all over my youtube recommendations for a couple days. Also, our local sexuality-ambiguous superficially-informed himbo has been saying he’s in his “chud era” for the past few months.
The word is gone it belongs to the masses now. Tis the nature of minority culture under subsuming liberalism.
