Liberals are too fucking annoying. When you try to oppose their beliefs, they shut you off with “tHaT’s WhAt i BeLiEvE!!” I’m not arguing your religious beliefs, stop sucking up to your imperialist overlords you’ll never be one of them.

The argument started when they said humans are inherently selfish and I opposed with capitalism made people individualistic. They were trying to counter with “humans are animals” and I said pack animals seek one another. Then they dropped capitalism is the best system and socialism killed 69 gorillions and PRC are capitalist, and they gave me no space to counter that.

I visited the Manchester Art Gallery today and they had these large rooms in which they acknowledged colonialism and capitalism and whatnot, which I thought was good. But they also happened to have a room on Dutch art and they described us as a brave nation becoming wealthy by finding sea routes to trade on.

Like how does that work lmao. We robbed half the world to get rich. No critical thought whatsoever in the Dutch room.

I think I’ve read that the Dutch East Indies (modern day Indonesia) historically was the most lucrative (i.e. highest net-profit) colony by a large margin. I cannot remember the numbers though.

There is no clear consensus but it is believed the Dutch East Indian Company was worth several trillion dollars adjusted to current day inflation.

No other company to this day came close. It employed up to a million people versus 800k by the rest of European colonial companies combined. It owned over 4000 ships and operated a private army to do whatever it wanted.

Over here in Belgium the government has stopped some restrictions on so called flexi job which are jobs in which you can work for some time without having to pay taxes on your wages. They are used by people who want to work in places like bars and cafes next to their regular job to make some extra money. The rules were adjusted so that it would be easier to get such jobs and that you can work more hours. Lots of people were critical of this because this also means less income from taxes and we already have a heavy deficit. But it just had to be done! The ‘market’ asks for more flexibility.

The government is now saying something needs to be done against all the flexijobs as it is costing them tax money. Like liberals are so incredibly stupid it is not funny anymore.

Have another great week, everyone! I know I’m on less frequently than I used to be, but I have been much better for limiting social media use. The quality of engagement goes up that way. Consider something similar if you’ve felt too much brain fog lately!

    As always, communism will win.

Another day another CIA-backed trot disinformation. There’s a guy in Instagram that says Stalin forced every other socialist country to be governed from Moscow, tried to assassinate Tito five times, and Sino-Soviet split happened because of Stalinism.

I avoid arguing with bad faith accusations, but I really wanted to ask them their sources on this. Also, if Titoism and Trotskyism was that good, why one’s country got in a civil war after his death and other’s thoughts didn’t achieve anything significant?

Nah you see, Khrushchev, Breznev, and Gorbachev are a product of Stalin’s dictatorship so that’s why Mao had to protect China from le ebul Stalinist big spoon.

The problem with the Trot mindset is that if they ever do a revolution, then the day after they will split and a part will denounce the other saying the socialist experience had degenerated. They can’t deal with the contradictions of building a new society from the previous one. That’s why their discourse is simply self-defeating.

We all know that Mao and Stalin did a lot of bad things, but that does not change the fact that both were trying to build something. And while they criticize the bureaucracy of the Soviet Union, that thing was there from the beginning, even when Trotsky was one of the party leaders.

Trots and maolibs forget that both Stalin and Mao were the heads of their states during major conflicts, so they had to take some drastic measures which many of us don’t approve.

Dear salty Egyptians, US Americans and now bafflingly British people: There is no universe where Argentina is somehow the most racist country on earth, just because they beat you at a stupid sports game/make you feel better about your own way worse racism.

I’m now convinced that the Mossad has worked overtime to get the world cup slop viewers to hate and believe that Argentina is somehow the most anti black, genocidal and Nazi country on earth, it’s wall to wall on all my feeds and pissing me off that people are this ignorant.

I have lost brain cells seeing people almost universally bring up Nazis fleeing to Argentina every time this dumb af argument about Argentine racism comes up, but somehow nobody constantly talks about Nazis feeling to the US, Canada, and bloody WEST GERMANY ITSELF which took way more Nazis. Actual psyop and it makes me wish Argentina wins the entire thing just so these people can cry harder.

Every once in a while I think about how easy itwould be for me to get ICE’d in the US if I went. Country I’m from has a red passport. If I speak my native language it is quite likely I will be searched. (“Friend” of mine briefly got taken away for questioning by ICE at the airport (Seattle if anyone is wondering) for speaking the same language, was let go after). There is no way I will keep a straight face for the “are you and have you been associated with any communist parties” question. If I ever went I would probably get a different phone, throw away my old one just in case. Not that I want to go to the US, but I have always wanted to visit NY and Seattle.

I don’t blame you. I don’t feel safe in the US even though my outward appearance and language are seen as “normal” here. But Seattle and the Pacific Northwest are great. New York is, how do I put this, both incredibly overrated and a perfect mirror of the US.

It be some grim fuckin’ times, folks. Been more active my org lately with all the unemployed down-time I have. Got an interview on Saturday.

Despite having all my time occupied; some of my most cathartic and stress-relieving moments in life is to get shitfaced and tell the more rabid, near-irredeemable types of fascist reactionaries to end their own life. Always a good time.

Sort of had a similar experience this april. First time I was into someone in a good 3 years. I delayed my rejection by a month and a half due to being too afraid to talk to her again (rejection is a very strong word, she just wasn’t interested, and she was almost too kind with how she said it). I really want to be over it, but I have way too hard of a time letting go of things (in general) and now I just feel like complete shit. Just needed a place to say all this, I’ve got no real friends left and no idea how to make more. The more time goes on the harder it is to interact in general, talking to someone I was crushing on took what felt like a herculean amount of bravery and the literal perfect coditions to happen. This is the only place where I feel like I can speak to people without being terrifed (due to feelings, growing introversion or general anxiety, and the fact that I am likely autistic and am completely unable to guess what people are going to think and say). Doubting my own asexuality is just another thing I do not want right now. For now I think a way to get back on track with everything is to start reading theory again, and maybe doing something else fulfilling. Sorry for the overly long infodump, I just need anyone to see this, I have learned that in abscence of help simply being heard helps me deal with everything. One thing for certain is that lemmygrad gives me a little hope. The same kind of hope I felt when I first became a marxist not too long ago.

I’m not going anywhere comrades, and as for relationships, don’t lose hope comrade, you’ll find someone sooner or later. o7

Sending virtual hugs to you comrade!

I’m somewhat of a people person and can easily meet with new peoples, but I have a hard time creating strong bonds. This rejection hurt a lot because I thought we clicked, and I was proven otherwise.

Never stop trying comrade, that’s all I can say to you!
