Listen, we keep excusing the people, its our fault. As Americans its our fault we have Trump. As Europeans, its their fault they have leaders that bend to the US and Israel’s wants and needs. The people need to be taught responsibility again. We need to be taught to overthrow shitbags that make the world a worse place. Letting genociders roam free is making the world a worse place.

Australia is in line with this as well. The party that is supposed to be progressive, despite some of its members standing up (looking at you with respect Ed Husic) are bending to the will of interests against the public’s wishes. There’s targeting of disabled people which is leading them to want to put it last in preferences because they have nothing at all to lose, and they will.

It’s the same thing; we need to as a nation, vote better next time but there is no will by the majority to take it further left in a historically conservative voting nation whose people often choose the stick over the carrot as a social outlook.

Unless you’re in Germany where the 2023 co-head of the green party and foreign minister said “These days we’re all Israelis”

At least their youth organisation is calling out the genocide, obviously not without being accused of antisemitism

Germany is a Nazi country so it’s to be expected that even their Greens are Nazis. Only place I’ve ever seen Zionist “leftists”.

Yeah pretty much been voting Green for many years now. It’s crazy; so many people saying we have no decent alternatives yet the Greens have the policy platform pretty much everyone who makes these complaints are chasing.

My seat is firmly conservative so my strategy is to focus on the Senate with the view of it holding the government to account in a progressive fashion as much as they can. What those Green senators do in that regard is precisely why I vote them in.

Fully agree. I’m in Queensland (Australia’s Florida) and it never ceases to amaze me how the majority of people in this state will enthusiastically vote against their own best interest, complain that things have gone to shit, blame any and all progressive/green parties and then do it all again.

Yeah it’s a big concern. Im in Queensland as well.

The worry for us is we have no Senate in our state government and you can already see how much damage Crisafulli is doing with that. Hanson would fuck this state forever and this is where she’s from.

Unreal ay? How long did these southern states put shit on us, yet they’re now idolising the worst of Queenslanders in Hanson and Joyce, owned by the biggest grub of a slob the country has in a WA mining magnate who in turn is owned by an American pedophile who shits himself in public and falls asleep.

The fuck happened to us? Seriously, Hoges comment calling Hanson a pelican was the biggest punch anyone’s been able to lay on the rotten orange cunt of a thing.

          Edited: added ‘an American’

Labor with the NDIS amendments. Some of it is nothing short of cruelty.

Many disabled people feel they have nothing to lose…take away the social and community participation budget, that’s a big aspect of enjoyable life gone for them. They’re clear; they’ll put Labor last and it doesn’t matter what’s said to them in regards to the conservatives being worse…they have to deal with what’s happening in front of them that’s real, not what may or may not under future incompetent conservative governments.

Some people were better off with NDIS plans under the conservatives. Whatever peoples take from that might be (and it’s generally misinformed by my experience, being a plan manager and carer) that’s a fact for many, and it’s enough for people with nothing to lose to put Labor last, on what’s happening in front of them.

Go take a look around the discussion with disability advocates and you’ll see what’s going on. There’s not a lot of love for Labor among the unemployed and their advocacy either. Remember, as I said these are people with not a lot to lose so they’ll vote based on how they’re being treated.

That doesn’t reflect how I may or may not vote either, just how it is.

As I recall, Albanese used a lot of talk about his sainted single Mum on disability to win support for his first term, where he promised he’d form a committee to look into raising the DSP to levels where recipients could actually afford to live. Then he promised to raise the rate if he got a second term. To be fair, he did, and some pensioners can now afford half a Mars bar as a treat if they’re frugal with their medication. Raises fell far short of the recommended $60 a week necessary to manage the cost of living. But, then again, they always have.

Of course, the LNP wanted to put everyone on social security on the Twiggy Card, telling them where they could shop, and what they were allowed and not allowed to buy, with the government throwing $10,000 per cardholder at themselves and Twiggy. So they can be trusted to do right for pensioners about as much as a Death Adder with a migraine can be trusted not to lash out.

God knows where the Greens sit on any issue, since they’ve voted with the LNP and Labor multiple times. PHON is nothing but something created to enrich Pauline Hanson. The teals flip flop depending on the wind. Palmer’s a joke.

In a field of shit, the best one can do is avoid stepping in the fresh ones. But who is actually progressive, and will stand behind their promises?

It is infuriating as is but it also is part of the reason why so many people are struggling with the EU currently.

We recognise the good but it just does not live up to its own values and treats equal situations differently - there’s just no defending this and it’s well out of line with the people. Let alone the fact that we continue to fall neatly in line with the US, no matter what harm it does to us.

I’m trying to find the flight in FlightRadar, as it seems to be the most cited source. I saw the flight code XA001 in some place. Can someone find it? Is it impossible to find flights on FlightRadar that have already happened?

So the ICC is a completely useless organism at best, harmful even.

Also another instance of EU solely existing to do anything master washington demands, ghoulish freaks
