Well to explain the joke (which it seems might as well be done in advance here, considering it is within range of dot world), the rightoid only cares about white (capitalized) babies being eaten. It’s a dead giveaway. These guys spend years stockpiling arms and spinning tales about an elite network of child traffickers (discrediting people like me in the process with Alex Jones shitcoating antics), it gets proven correct, and what do they do? Absolutely nothing, because they’re shit scared of their cops, let alone their military. They start jerking off to the idea of going and killing the chinese and russians since it’s not going so well with the iranians.

lemmy has made me stop doom scrolling so i turned it into my primary form of social media. i deleted my accounts on all other centralized american social media platforms, but i kept accounts on tiktok, twich, instagram and youtube to keep following leftist influencers who keep me informed while also helping me analyze it critically. they also help me understand leftist political theory.
it’s been a real godsend to my perspective of life and given me hope for the future of humanity.
Yeah basically I saw a friend turn into a Nazi because of the algorithm and just kind of logged off. I did this with TV before everyone went streaming. I don’t like being told what to think.
I haven’t entirely shut myself out but I tune in when I want to now. Otherwise I’m just going to work and doing activist shit. Freetime is video games and books.

meanwhile the older 1st generation immigrants of my family think that i’m just over reacting to trump because they believe that the united states will always be better than where we came from; so they overlook all the things that are happening and actively try to interfere when i try to make anyone in the family aware.
it’s leading to with a really odd situation where the older people are more liberal than the younger people; but everyone is lining themselves up to do what maga wants done without realizing it.
