I mean, the last one is actually true. ANY advancement in space travel is worth it. If you don’t understand why, you are not thinking long term enough.
None of the stuff they develop trickles down to us, though. Certainly not for free. Unlike NASA discoveries, which were taxpayer funded. We had a stake in it.
If we’re not here long term as a species how does it benefit us?
