The Treaty of Fort Jackson (also known as the Treaty with the Creeks) was signed on this day in 1814 at Fort Jackson in Alabama. The treaty was agreed upon in the aftermath of the defeat of Red Stick (Upper Creek) resistance by U.S. forces at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend.

The treaty was the “largest single Indian cession of southern American land”, according to historian Michael Rogin - around 23 million acres in Alabama and Georgia. The U.S. forces won with the battle with the help of allied Cherokee and Lower Creek forces friendly to the American side.

The terms of various treaties with the Creek nation would go on to be consistently violated by Americans colonizing the south.

IIRC her video on Palestine wasn’t good too, her video “Rationalising Colonialism - How the US Stole Indigenous American Land” brings up anti semitism and doesn’t stand on any side, which makes a lot of sense when you realize she was in a star wars show

Thinking back to the time where I worked the phones for the city and would get complaint calls every single day from cracker residents, saying verbatim “there is a black man on the street,” and when asked what the problem was, they would say “he’s acting suspicious and dancing” or some shit

Crackers are Hitlerite hall monitors foaming at the mouth all hours of the day just chomping at the bit to lynch a POC

  • Petition to ban white people from talking about (cis) gender dynamics, please. There’s an exhausting thread with a lot of dogshit takes going on right now, not entirely full of white people, but a lot of generalizing white masculinity culture to all men. I just do not and cannot trust people saying “death to men” and “masculinity is the whiteness of gender”. There are too many examples of nonwhite men being demonized, dehumanized, and murdered, and trans women have been swept up in those dragnets as well, ans white women have been instrumental in that too. Someone more educated has probably written about this but I just don’t feel capable of writing it up coherently

White people who have any kind of marginalization will hide under it to be vile racists. See white women complaining about all men while historically owning slaves, including black male slaves, white trans and queer people acting like they’re the biggest victims of everything while appropriating the statistics, lived experiences and the murders of trans and queer racialized people for their own gain and being racist to poc cause “they’re homophobic/transphobic” or another bs excuse while they kill us all under the rainbow banner of lgbt rights and feminism (see the list of trans murder victims of any year and you can count on one or two hands the number of white ones out of all named). Hell even this supposed leftist site had a whole struggle session about how you’re a raging ableist if you had any kind of negative feelings about a white man who screamed the n slur with a hard r to a group of black men lmao. Anything about the “evil men/cishet/whatever” can be dismissed 90% of the time when it comes out from the mouth of a white mf cause dig deep enough and you’ll see that rhetoric being used for racist shit. I could say more but other comrades have said it already in this thread. In conclusion: yes all crakkkers.

The cracKKKers of this site tend to always assume good of white women and white queers. They’ll see a white women spew shit against “all men” and never stop for a second to wonder if her definition of “men” might include trans women or if she is aware of the racial violence she could enact on men of color*. I feel like I rarely ever see struggle sessions related to gender, but I do recall some. The way this site handles gender dynamics is less likely to be scrutinized, but on racial subjects? That’s where people especially get uncomfortable and always want to cause a ruckus. That’s how we were able to have so many separate struggle sessions about Ansarallah being “antisemitic.” This is also why this time I saw some liberal white man on some Instagram reel say “White people treat Black people the way men treat women” made me uncomfortable. That kind of framing greatly misses the point and is so damn reductive. It’s reminding me of that John Lennon song, too (you know the one). The compartmentalization is annoying as well. People might think shit like “In Western countries, a Black man is privileged over a white woman in terms of gender, but the white woman is privileged over him in terms of race,” but that’s not actually how it works. You cannot separate the way gender factors into racial dynamics here. The way gender is handled on these two bodies is not something that exists in a vacuum, detached from any other aspect about them, so people shouldn’t oversimplify that shit.

*Though this didn’t happen with a “white” Western country, this is also reminding me of this time we had this post uncritically celebrating South Korea’s 4B movement and then everyone who was cheering that shit on felt embarrassed and started deleting/editing comments when someone commented that said movement is actually horrible in many ways. Such includes transphobia and how they are really more so the product of internalized racism (i.e., they are against sex with Korean men, but sure as hell don’t mind sex with male Western tourists, akin to the “divestor” shit you see among a small portion of Black women)

Here’s what I don’t understand, though: how the fuck can someone hear of a “female separatist movement” in SSouth KKKorea of all fucking places and then be baffled when that movement is extremely bioessentialist. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there has ever been a time when female separatism HASN’T been bioessentialist. If it wasn’t, chances are there would have to be very awkward conversations about how trans and non-binary people factor into this shit, and these movements certainly do not permit such nuances. Their approach is already undialectical as fuck and tries to reduce “dismantling patriarchy” to individual acts of abstinence against men.

you have articulated exactly how i felt about 4B. certain communities at least acknowledged it had transphobic elements, but this thread is literally the only place i’ve seen discuss its pro white men angle.

      • Yes! A comrade was running a reading group of Mohammed el-Kurd’s book Perfect Victims wherein he talked about why he had to recenter men. Men are part of the community, and the western press (when it deigns to talk about Israel’s atrocities at all) says in the same breath that it’s terrible to kill women and children but fine to kill men. And future men, as in boys, as in children. But when the men are murdered, the women aren’t going “thank god we’ve been freed from our oppressive males”, no, they mourn their brothers, their sons, their husbands, their uncles, their friends.

I’ve been saying this, and honestly, truthfully, what might be a hot take (at least with most of the left-wing cracKKKers I interact with, though I’ve seen more nuance on this from some fellow POC) is that I actually do not trust misandry.

Of course, it’s not me saying it’s “as bad as misogyny” or validating the woes of incels who want to deny that society is patriarchal.

But ISTG, every time I see a white (cis) woman talk about how “evil” men are, I do not assume she is just some “girlboss” who is innocuously punching up at her oppressors. I believe she is most likely a transphobic, racist bioessentialist who’d never acknowledge the dangerous power that she has over men of color, especially since it is the rule, not the exception, for white women to have a very self-centered approach to injustice and only care about oppression that personally affects them.

      • And there is actual discrimination involved in this, the bigotry against immigrant men who are the main target of right wing propaganda especially in Europe, it paints Arab and African men specifically as "SA"ers and thieves and is used to justify hate crimes. There’s the fact that even human right organizations use “women and children” to refer to civilians in wars against third world countries, as if to say “it’s okay to kill Iranian, Palestinian, Lebanese, Yemeni and all other browns if they are men”. POC men also face gender specific fetishisation.

    Antinatalism

I have this (white) friend from ukkk who seems to be rather antinatalist. I’m on good terms with him, and he has shifted a lot overall since I first got to know him. He was a bit more libby at first, but over time, he’s gotten more into Marxism-Leninism and has taken my theory recommendations seriously. Overall, we agree on a lot of things and have a good deal of shit in common, but where I especially have disagreements with him is on the subject of antinatalism.

I find it interesting. He says he’s not too deeply invested in it, but he believes that procreation is inherently “selfish and exploitative” and he is always going to feel judgmental towards those who desire kids and those who have kids. He has no desire to see bodily autonomy actively policed, but he thinks that procreation is unethical and, unless done by accident, inherently comes from an exploitative mentality.

Antinatalism is a subject I’ve thought about a lot because it’s a good subject to engage with if you wanna dissect philosophy just for the sake of dissecting philosophy, I guess, but obviously, antinatalism is not gonna actually have any real-world, material relevance, and even he seems to be aware of this.

That being said, the viewpoint still bugs me a bit. I wonder if I should talk to him to see if he’s willing to get why it does not make sense and how it’s even counterrevolutionary. Marxism and antinatalism cannot coexist because antinatalism has no place within how Marxism handles dialectics. Like I said, it will forever have no material relevance, and, in the way it typically manifests, sometimes overtly and sometimes covertly, it can come with racist, ableist, and eugenicist implications.

He is self-admittedly a tad bit undereducated on the subject of Marxism, so he is still learning. I wonder if this is a connection I can expect him to make on his own.

I forget whether I brought this up before, I feel like I have, but I’m going to bring it up again because damn, I just need to vent. So I’ve been hearing the n word more among Mexican friends and I don’t really like it. For context, I’m both Hispanic and black, but not Mexican. I guess I haven’t really been in those communities so I didn’t know it was a thing they’ve been doing.

But I made a new friend recently whos more in those communities, as well as just generally trying to get more in touch with the latin side of me as part of joining ICE protests and patrols and stuff, and holy shit do they just spout it like they black. I feel like I should check them if it makes me uncomfortable, but I don’t want to be the weird one, and it feels useless because they say it so often and I heard Latinos will just get defensive because they grew up saying it or they knew black people that were cool with it.

But they didn’t go through slavery, civil rights, all the shit that led up to that word being reclaimed. Imo it’s not their word to say, just because black culture is youth culture now and they hear it in hip hop.

Bit whatever, what can you do. At least white people aren’t saying it in front of me 🙄

Yeah, as a hispanic I’m not really with it. Like you said, I know like its slightly more accepted if someone grew up in majority black spaces, but it just doesn’t feel right. Personally I don’t say just because its not its not my place to reclaim that term. And, in my experience, some of the people that say it will turn around and say some of the most vile and racist shit about black people, so yeah… just a no from me.

I’m very over the racist left glorifying of Norman Finkelshit

    From Mujamma Haraket

In his most recent appearance on the “India and Global Left” program, Norman Finkelstein avers that Yahya Sinwar and the Hamas leaders in Gaza who undertook Tufan al-Aqsa were undertaking an impulsive “gamble” rather than a strategic operation. When the interviewer (correctly) observes that there are reasons to believe that the short-term goal was to free prisoners and the long-term objective was to halt regional normalization while galvanizing the Palestine issue globally, Finkelstein vehemently disagrees. Were Finkelstein to familiarize himself with the “Our Narrative” documents produced by Hamas or consider the various testimonies where figures ranging from Mahmoud Mardawi to Jasser al-Barghouti elaborated on Sinwar et al.’s modus operandi, perhaps he would not be so dismissive.

Yet Finkelstein then insists that “like Nat Turner, who had only read the Bible” (a claim that is itself contravened by Christopher Tomlins’s recent scholarship on Turner), Sinwar was unlearned—and had, following the 2011 Shalit prisoner exchange which precipitated his return to the besieged Gaza Strip, but “gone from one prison to another”. According to Finkelstein, Sinwar was thus constitutionally incapable of political prudence, acting from rash and extruding compulsions alone. It is rather mystifying that someone who prides themselves on their granular research (and, it should be noted, has undoubtedly assiduously assayed the 2010 Mavi Marmara case and various human rights reports) is unaware of Sinwar’s well-established and arrayed literary record—as a writer, reader, and translator.

Furthermore, Finkelstein argues that it is folly to focus on the resistance, as this merely bolsters the occupation’s misbegotten narrative that Tufan al-Aqsa was a war rather than a genocide. Finkelstein beseeches the interviewer: “Can you name me a single battle? You can’t as there were none.” However—and putting aside the issue that the categories of “wars” and “genocides” do not definitionally exclude one another (e.g., the 1994 Tutsi genocide occurred amidst a war)—a cursory review of the Palestinian resistance’s witness accounts is punctuated by references to the “Battle of Khan Younis” (Dec. 2023 - April 2024), what Abu Obeida called the “Battle of Rafah” (May-August 2024), and the “Battle of Shujaʿiyya” (Dec. 2023), to name but a few. These were, of course, conducted as guerrilla rather than conventional military battles. But to take the resistance’s operational and political history seriously neither entreats minimization of the occupation’s “dolus specialis” (genocidal intent) nor bestows parity upon the two parties.

The more I hear from him the more I wonder why he’s given such a long leash by the “left”. Like I’ve heard some people say, yeah he’s bad on trans/queer rights and he gets into the ID pol shit, but it feels like those aspects are minimized way too much. I was hearing a clip from his interview (or discussion?) with Hasan and he was talking about the recent wave of demsoc victories in US primaries and he goes into this thing about how those campaigns didn’t focus on ID pol, but the ID pol was “baked in” because most candidates were candidates of color with names to match. And its like… ok. For someone that talks about ID pol so much, to say that one’s identity as a minority is political in and of itself is just, blegh. Basically indistinguishable from right-wing talking points.

But I’m learning that its all just par for the course. Zizek still gets play from leftists. Platner had defenders right up until he was accused of SA by a white woman.

Yeah… Just another supremacist but because hes “antizionist Jew” he gets a free pass i guess. One of “the good ones.”

        Someone shared this with me:

Norman Finkelstein is a white supremacist who has a complex where he must seem smarter than palestinians. When jewish zionists blacklisted him from universities, he blamed arab academics and “woke cancel culture” for his explusion. When discussing resistance heroes, he constantly focuses on how they read the Quran when he himself has clearly not read their work, see his disparagment of al-Rantisi below.

This has been a problem for decades:

I’m suspicious of any Negro be he politician be he clergyman or civic leader who is constantly patted on the back. I have a tendency to lead toward the Negro politician who is constantly condemned by the white power structure. This is my thought pattern I’m giving you an insight of it. In other words if a black man cannot have a white man as a friend he may have a white man who’s friendly but being friendly and being a friend I think are two different things.

First time I met Herbert Hill personally was when they were picketing to stop the working on the Harlem Hospital in Harlem. Negroes for 10 years had to fight the city to get an annex built on the Harlem hospital because in Harlem we need a hospital more so than anything else. Our people are sick plus we do a lot of cutting and shooting of each other (though we profess to be nonviolent) and Herbert Hill brought his forces out and stopped the working on that. This is the first time I ever saw him. Then, when work was brought to a halt on a hospital in Harlem, the same Negroes tried to stop the work at the downstate medical center in Brooklyn which is predominantly white. They were out there for three months during the summer…couldn’t stop anything and I never saw him. But he’ll be out there on time now whatever something takes a stoppage of something that’s going to affect the white man. You find the white liberal absent when it involves something that primarily will affect the best interests of black people, and black people only, then that white liberal is [absent]. President Herbert Hill is the labor secretary for the NAACP and if he was interested in black people he would prepare a black man with the type of knowledge and understanding of the labor troubles involving black people that would enable a black man to sit in the same position as secretary of labor or labor secretary NAACP.

I’m suspicious of whites who joined Negroes and always have to be in the lead, who always have to be the head, who always have to be at the top in Negro organizations. Those whites who really have the interest of blacks at heart give some advice to some Negroes and stand on the sidelines but don’t join the organization and then get at the head of it and pose as a friend of Negroes.

          -Malik el-Shabazz,

          Interview at UC Berkeley

          October 11, 1963

          Full interview here.

White people, even so-called “allies,” always have to be in charge. They can’t undo their white supremacist brainworms, even when trying to be anti-racist. They tackle racism from the perspective of the White Savior, who knows better than anyone, rather than attacking racism in pursuit of true equality.

Yeah, the labor aristocrats in denial will continue being wretched.

But theres an aspect of this is why i dont agree with the red sails brainwashing article. People whose class interests are opposed to US imperialism are convinced to believe garbage nonsense because there is a comprehensive psychological and informational warfare apparatus weaponized against them. And the media and social media networks are owned and run by zionists like Ellison and Zuckerburg and Musk…

In any case, I think it is hard for the average person to grapple with what it means to confront something that is irredeemably evil. Saying that a country is irredeemable and must be completely dismantled is a pretty extreme position. Its difficult to hold especially if the oppression one experiences from Empire is indirect and invisible (like economic hegemony) and when one is subjected to constant psywar about the greatness of USA. Its easy to be deceived into small victories because its honestly quite overwhelming to look the beast in the eye and recognize it.

This further emphasizes the importance of the Sarkha as a truly revolutionary slogan of the 21st century because it leaves no space for liberal humanist zionist garbage.

It is in a way ideological armor and shield. So that we do not have to wear the “fell for it” medals and we can guide others towards the path of truth and justice.

Too many POC talk about America as a melting pot and the need to make it reflect diversity. What America needs is to be destroyed, plain and simple. They could talk about the contributions of POC to making America what it is today, but what they are missing is that all of those contributions have gone towards the maintenance of empire.

            Right.

If we start from the position that USAmerica is fundamentally good but just needs to fix a few flaws, then of course promoting diversity is a possible political strategy.

If we start from the position that the most important strategic political requirement for socialism–or even the continued existence of our species for that matter–is expedient dissolution of the United States as a political and economic entity, then how does that change the political strategy?

I wonder if anyone is genuinely grappling with this.

          • Thank you, it’s refreshing to see this. I feel so frustrated when I see liberals celebrating a member of some token minority getting “better representation” by selling their soul to the empire.

British dude saying that China is doing imperialism by flooding Hong Kong with “mainland colonizer tourists” is possibly the perfect encapsulation of the cracker “left”. Yes this was actually said, in real life.

Same way they say China is colonizing Africa by helping develop hospitals etc instead of enslaving and killing the population like good ol’ euros! Also a brit accusing anybody of colonizing Hong King is rich.

British sexpats love to constantly whine and complain about how Hong Kong is being ruined by mainlanders, enabled by white-worshipping Hong Kong liberals. Western media in 1997 also threw a hysterical hissy fit over China “stealing” Hong Kong. The HK subreddit has a meltdown every other day about China trying to brainwash HK students by teaching them that colonialism is bad.

Britain also did the classic thing of sowing seeds of ethnic hatred before they got kicked out so now you have nativist white-worshipping libs doing Hitlerite levels of racism against people that are ethnically and culturally basically identical to them, they themselves being seldom more than 2 generations removed from the mainland. They hate mainlanders even if they are Cantonese-speakers, because they don’t speak it with a Hong Kong accent. It’s a running joke in mainland circles that you are better off speaking Japanese in Hong Kong than Mandarin.

I don’t think it’s going to improve within the lifetime of anyone alive today. Officially the two systems with Hong Kong self-governance could end in 2047, but Chinese government officials have repeatedly stated that they are not planning to pull the plug and have hinted that it’s going to be extended indefinitely.

Contrary to the fantasies of liberals and about teachers getting arrested for opposing the sissypee, the Chinese government has actually been extremely half-hearted in terms of rooting out the rot from the education system. In fact last time they tried to flex their weight when a HK professor tried to do Japan war crimes apologia they ended up backing down. And up until very recently the vast majority of textbooks were produced by a teachers’ organization that explicitly supported the CIA-backed riots in 2019 and had a stated goal of fostering an independent Hong Kong identity in students. Which is how you get textbooks titled “Hong Kong in the Pre-Qin Period” trying to do revisionist history pretending that Hong Kong identity wasn’t invented by the British after they stole the land less than 200 years ago. (Hong Kong in the Pre-Qin Period was a desolate wasteland with population zero).

The problem is Hong Kongers don’t see themselves as Chinese, despite most of them being descended from mainland immigrants who moved there less than 100 years ago. It’s also a perfect example of what happens when you let FreedomTM and DemocracyTM reign and allow the kids to have their brains destroyed by western intelligence-controlled social media. So now you have dipshit 20 year olds running around with British colonial flags demanding a return to colonial “democracy” where only white British men could hold executive office and where protestors were murdered with impunity.

The white worship has gotten so bad that there are numerous cases of materially well-off individuals abandoning everything they had in Hong Kong to move to the UK to work hard labor jobs for starvation wages while British politicians debate whether to put them in concentration camps or just deport them.

The Chinese government doesn’t want a repeat of 2019 and they are actually going in the direction of creating more Hong Kong-like places, such as when they launched the Hainan Free Trade Zone. Government officials aren’t the rabid Chinese nationalist caricatures in liberals’ imaginations itching to take back Taiwan and fully integrate Hong Kong and Macau. In fact a lot of them still hold onto naive fantasies of holding hands and singing kumbaya in the Rules Based International OrderTM and you see this in action when they put out rhetoric about how China is the true guardian of free trade or whatever.

Saw this white dude comment on a Black man’s post where he’s venting about white people: “Blame it all on capitalism”

I told him to STFU, and he responded, “I think you might be a little confused. Capitalism is the reason why race exists as a social construct, so don’t claim to be an anti-capitalist if you can’t represent it.”

This fucking clown-ass h0nky seems to think this is esoteric knowledge and that the only reason why people are pushing back against his “well ackchyually, the problem is capitalism” class reductionist BS is simply because they’re not educated on race and capitalism. No, you bozo, of course I know how capitalism and racism are connected. This is fundamental knowledge, but I don’t need you deflecting, you fucking clown-ass cracker. GTFO.

I fundamentally agree but I cannot have a white person be like “I’m racist because of capitalism.” I didn’t pick racism and I live under capitalism.

https://www.tumblr.com/blinkandyoullseeme/824616646888112128/a-couple-more-to-close-this-out-racism-is average interaction with white trans people. Much to say but you all know it. There will never be a community for us all cause addressing racism and acknowledging white trans people are privileged over racialized ones is a cia psy-op or infighting lmao I hate crackers so much, I hate them more everyday that passes. WHITE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE.

It’s really weird how so many posts/comments there wouldn’t look out of place in Hexbear. All cracKKKers have that exact same self-victimizing, arrogant flair

I have known only a single white person who hasn’t started spewing satanically racist bullshit the second they think I’m comfortable with them, and he was born, raised, and works in China. Distrusting crackers is a natural self defense mechanism

I like to think of crackers as fortune cookies, except it’s a mystery racist sentence inside, other identities are just extra layers on top but they’re still racist on the inside. If they get comfortable enough with you they crack and spill out the most racist shit you’ve ever heard like they’re talking about the weather.

Can’t speak for anyone else but with me they almost always top off their mask off moment with some variant of “but you’re one of the good ones though”. Oh I’m so honored!!! /s

White trans women will use murder and violence statistics of trans women of color (the lifespan is 35 one comes to mind, it was a study about Brazilian trans women involved in the sex trade) and yet this is how they treat their supposed trans siblings of color.
