That’s why I’m so pissed off of LLMs as a machine learning enthusiast.
There a so many different ways to use machine learning to help people in their daily lives. But now, the sollution is always LLM, LLM and LLM.
Agree in that there’s potential in AI, or fancy machine learning. But its not in having a text generator solve all problems. This is where China’s development of AI really differs from the west’s. They make AI and robotics geared toward specific uses. Specifically in different areas of production. Instead of putting all eggs in the LLM basket and believe it can just do everything.
