It’s the trolley problem. Hes already killed millions, leave him alive, he’ll likely kill more. Kill one blobbo, save countless other blobbos.
The trolley problem is a challenge because there isn’t an inherent net positive to killing the singular person other than saving a few more. In this situation, you’re killing someone who’s actively harming others on a grand scale.
This is more like shooting the trolley.
Which is a perfectly fine solution to the trolley problem. Instead of pulling the lever, you actually get up and stop the trolley once and for all.
