Leaked records reveal what appears to be the first known instance of a police department attempting to use facial recognition on a face generated from crime-scene DNA. It likely won’t be the last.

      A cop requested that the AI-generated face be run through their facial recognition software, but it is unknown whether that was performed or what the result was.

      Given facial recognition is a flawed system to begin with, I’m going to assume no. And even if it did, I wouldnt count on it being reliable.
