        I had to double take after reading your comment, the fact that this is in watercolour is absolutely mind blowing (I can’t for the life of me get good results with watercolours, so I already find most good work with them impressive, but this really is on another level)…

        With regard to expensive paintings, sometimes the price is only about money laundering.

          Hehe, indeed. There’s plenty of banal shite being sold for millions. Either for vanity or more nefarious reasons.

            I wish I could be an artist whose artwork was used for money laundering. I could cash in. Maybe if I paint pictures of apes.
