I have very little sympathy for reddit mods. Too many of them are petty little tyrants with no checks on them. I hope the door hits them on the ass.

“Let’s get rid of our longest running users, that should help the site move forward.”
With Trump’s obsession with infiltrating every branch of the gov and putting in his lackeys I don’t trust anything coming out of it at this point.
Fired for thee, acceptable for me
Hah! I used Dufour also. My choices were that and Pepperidge Farm but I knew the critical part was it had to use real butter. Looking at the prices I knew that PF being half the price meant that they had to make some serious compromises. If I’m going to eat a bunch of calories I’m going to do it right.
The website joyofbaking.com defines the term galette as “a French term signifying a flat round cake that can be either sweet or savory and while [recipes can use] puff pastry as a base, they can also be made from risen doughs like brioche, or with a sweet pastry crust.”
The crips are Whigs and the bloods are Federalists.
I was making a galette for the first time and while I was going over the epic saga that is making your own puff pastry I said, “fuck it, I’ll just buy some from the freezer section at the store”. It came out great and I saved 3 hours of my life.
I had a chicken casserole recipe and it called for “a can of cream of chicken soup”. Ok, this soup comes in the normal, single serving size and the jumbo “cooking for a family” size. It made the recipe unusable.
Extra long kitteh
I always thought there should be an “unlimited class” in the olympics where you can take anything you want. I want to see wildly drugged up athletes competing with each other.
This is like suing the phone company over phone calls. Sorry but the man involved was responsible, not the communication mediums.
Consumer or business? I can see businesses but I have yet to run into a consumer, who isn’t an enthusiast, who is even aware of Linux.
I’m amazed that he is picking fights with not only our best and most important allies (Canada, S Korea, etc) but also with countries we’ve been trying to court for decades like India. Absolutely incompetent diplomacy. It feels like nothing is off the table when it comes to sacrificing for pandering to the MAGAs.
This was more than just simple reflexes though, like minibrains.
I got more of a cold sense of “you reap what you sow” justice. If you go around slapping people in the face don’t be shocked if you get your ass kicked one day.
You can see it written on their RV’s.
No, celebrating it makes you not much better morally and emotionally. A sense of justice though? I can see that.
When I was a kid I didn’t read about a “2nd brain” but a series of ganglions that acted like relays down the spine. Supposedly the belief was the size of dinosaurs made it impossible for nerve signals to reach the brain from distant parts of the body in a timely manner so they had these relays that made it easier to have reflex responses while the signal was being passed on to the brain.
The idea stemmed from misinterpretations of large cavities found in the hip region of some dinosaurs, like Stegosaurus. This cavity, which appeared somewhat brain-shaped, was likely a glycogen body, a structure similar to one found in modern birds, and its purpose in dinosaurs is not fully understood but may relate to energy storage or balance.
Mods should be forced to indicate what rule was broken when banning. All bans should be appealable on reddit and addressed by a human being. Mods who have a history of frequent ban overturns should be suspended or banned.
