Thanks for bringing that up. Well yes, kind of the same. But the basic difference would be that we would start off with discussions on our device, and then gradually discuss ways and means regarding how we can find out workable solutions if we had no GAFAM product.

About installing the app.

This is the step which doesn’t seem to work. The Universal Installer in f-droid failed in installing the xapk file.

I downloaded the xapk files of the app. Then I had to install it through some installer, and after going through all the efforts, my device is refusing to install the app in my phone. If it’s the problem with my device, then how come that same app get installed when l’m downloading from playstore ??

I find the apps from playstore extremely bloated.

So that means it depends upon the model of your machine ??

I uninstalled it. I’m going to install it again and give it access.
