Especially if you are the one posting original content, just make the switch, your followers will follow, sure the numbers will go down but they are inactive numbers, the current big services literally used the inflated numbers to keep you hostage in using their services, see past it and you can be free.

personally, i think all satellites live positions should be public at all times, with launching them being more accessible, it becomes harder to coordinate everyone who may or may not have a satellite.
