Thanks!
Interestingly I can’t find any such mention in the database of drugs sold locally. Closest I’ve seen was interaction warning for methylphenidate with alpha2 agonist medication. Which caffeine isn’t but such agonist would have indirect effect on adenosine which is the same thing caffeine primarily affects. But the warning wasn’t about effectiveness but about safety.
I’ll have to look up actual studies on it later. If I remember. :-)
What was the constant warning across stimulant medications that I’ve seen is about anything which affects blood pressure and heart rate, as safety concern. And caffeine would fall under that given sufficient dosage.

Even if it doesn’t bring anything novel having confirmed results is good in science.
Open access PDF of the study can be obtained here: https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674(25)01373-X

Norepinephrine is another neurotransmitter highly implicated in ADHD.
Quoting from Wikipedia: Norepinephrine release is lowest during sleep, rises during wakefulness, and reaches much higher levels during situations of stress or danger, in the so-called fight-or-flight response. In the brain, norepinephrine increases arousal and alertness, promotes vigilance, enhances formation and retrieval of memory, and focuses attention; it also increases restlessness and anxiety.
The trouble of being to regulate wakefulness has been in my personal experience more pronounced than attention jumping around. But that’s likely fairly individual. I wouldn’t be surprised if the inattentive subtype & hyperactive subtype categories we use now were related to balance of these two.

Cute as a button :3

Thankfully I’m more of album listener than song listener so this happens way less, but still the best I’ve found so far were:

I don’t think that applies to ADHD related medication in general. Pehaps to stimulant-based ones? Do you have any references on it?

Upvote just for the title

Not the same use-case but I got one of the platic mattress protectors for baby beds/cribs.
I’m afraid plastic/silicone layer sticking to skin may be unavoidable to some extent. Personally I would get something I don’t mind staining and wouldn’t be hard to clean to put on top, eg. small black or brown microfibre towel.
Another option is to make your skin less adhesive. You can look into the powders designed to make putting on latex clothing easier. A baby powder will possibly work as well though I have no experience with those.
That’s very much not the same thing. Hanging things off the belt works much better to replace missing pockets.

Thanks, I was going for that today. 🟨⬜🟪⬛
The annoying one is when they say one thing and then start correcting and apologizing. And I can’t stop them to give a 20 minute lecture on gender identity and my lack thereof. (-:
Your post made me feel better, it really helped to read something positive outside the binary right now. Thanks for sharing!
And don’t worry about the post length. It takes as many words as it takes. And the post reads well and isn’t that long anyway.
