@privadesco @TheMachineStops and how would you obtain that old retention?
@privadesco mullvad and xmr block should be fine. Just don’t give anyone your personal information and stay silent about it. To display your uploads on indexers you need to contact them and ask about that. I guess some allow user uploads without asking like Crawler and Geek. Sadly I can’t recommend any guide really but you should be able to figure ngPost out without too many issues. Another option would be nyuu but you need to write a script wrapping that to really make use of it.
@privadesco yes but it’s always a hassle to update the svg and I made updating the website really easy. So I can always display the latest information there. A no js version does not really make sense for me but you can get the data as json from the api and do what ever you want with it. https://usenet.rexum.space/api/providers
@Xanza @foremanguy92_ with good providers retention is not really an issue. Different languages are.
@Darkassassin07 take a look at ngPost
@skotimusj checkout SceneNZBs, they have lots of this stuff.
@green_dragon you can find the latest version here: https://gnu.gl/@rexum/114094311731819446
@DonnieDarkmode any linux distro you want with docker on it.
@kubikpixel @ublockorigin @privacybadger wie es gibt rechtskonforme Cookie Banner!? Habe ich bisher noch fast nirgendwo gesehen…
@privadesco you can’t retrieve old uploads via peering. The peering is just for the current feed to exchange dafa that is uploaded. If you would use the NZB files you would need another provider that has them and then upload them on your own backbone. Such things are against the ToS of most/all providers.
