i reject the careless use of gender in the english language. there is no point in mentioning someones gender every time you mention them, other than implied sexism. bernies gender was not relevant to my comment, so i do not see a need to mention it.

what’s best for [their] country and the planet

maybe the best that can be achived in the US, via reforms.

social democratic societies are better for their people than rampant capitalism, but they are still deeply hierarchical. they still leave state and capital with too much power, while apeasing worker with the sham of parlamentary democracy, and benefits, that are controlled by the state. this is already not a great end goal, but its also unstable, because capitalists still have enough power to take away the reforms that were made, and they will eventually.

  • i think radical queerness is about liberation and radical love an acceptance. accepting that every person in their uniqueness and loving them the way they are. breaking free from the opressive social norms and expectations, that force people to hide who they are, experience bigotry and live in shame. and ultimately radical self love, to allow oneselve to love oneself the way one is and in that overcome the internalized bigotry.

a conclusion of this kind of queer love, is the building and protection of queer community, free of hierarchies and opression and full of love and empathy. building the society we want to live in and that we are willing to fight for.

or you write about something completely different. either way, id love to read the storry, once u finish it :3

will u be posting about it when you release it?

  • the more i learn about humans the more one thing becomes clear to me: humans are incredibly good at adapting to new environments and accepting them as their new normal.

we are so incredibly shaped by our environments, i doubt there is much essential about people other than maybe a few inherent tendencies. that doesnt mean tho that people dont aquire attributes during their lives that become basically impossible to change. what has been unleashed once might be impossible to lock away ever again.

but whether inherent or not doesnt matter, because imo we should always let people be the way they wanna be and support them, unless they are being harmful (by a libertairian understnading), which is when we should try to help them or at least protect ourselves from them.

  • gender in german is a mess and german is either unequipped to communicate gender neutrally in an inclusive way or the extensions that would enable it are heavily being pushed against. this is a very obvious reality and it deserves anger by those negatively affected by it. my outrage is not manufactured by rightwing actors, it comes from my lived experience as someone affected. on that note, please do not dude me.

gramatical gender being random and meaningless is an annoyance, making german a lot harder to learn. you are right, this is distinct from gender justice but it is an annoyance with the german language and it contributes to gender in german being a mess.

and it just feels like a cruel joke, when your language does actually have a neutral form but that form is considered dehumanizing when used for people.

  • the reason they wouldnt know, is because they wouldnt allow themselves to consider it.

when queer people are seen as an icky out-group, or not even truely discussed, it pushes people to ignore and supress their feelings. “i cant possibly be one of them! im normal!” “i might feel like i dont want to be my birth assigned gender, but there is nothing to be done about that :<”

it often takes time, positive awareness of queerness and an accepting environment or the ability to emancipate oneself from toxic environments to be able to overcome this conditioning.

so the illusiont that children cant know they are queer, is completely created by the heteronormative system opressing them

gender in german is absolute ass. i know other languages are worse but still >>:c

objects are gendered between masculine, feminine, and neutral, without any apparent pattern.
humans (and basically all nouns for them) are ofc also gendered but only as masculine and feminine (except some few exceptions like baby and girl) because ofc the neutral form is only for objects and animals and would be obectifying on humans… so oficially german has no gender neutral 3rd person pronouns (neither singular nor plural) and when it does need them, it just defaults to the masculine pronouns, because men are ofc the default.

now there are language reforms happening, trying to create new gender neutra noun suffixes, by merging the existing suffixes but ofc even this small addition has ben turned into a manufactured outrage for conservatives, reactionaries, and really anyone who doesnt belive there is a patriarchy.

no one outside of queer or radical leftist communities is even aware of the existance or capable of the usage of gender neutral neo pronouns (the only kind there is, other than the reclaimed neutral form).

this shit makes me so pissed whenever i think about it.
