Been a Christian for a long time (1989). I’ve consumed copious amounts of ancient mythology and folklore. People who don’t understand that you can read something that challenges your faith and still follow through with better understanding afterwards is the issue. If you read something and it doesn’t make you think deeper about yourself, faith, world, or whatever what’s the point? Those in the church (Christian or not) that tell you that reading something is a “sin” are probably ones that teeter on the edge of losing their grasp as it is and don’t want you doing the same. Most of them can’t explain why it’s so challenging, they just know it’s there.

The same way we don’t praise Hitler for the good paintings. We don’t celebrate people that do evil consistently.

I have also had this dream.

That’s assuming they don’t look at a sub and just say “you’re now paid, congrats” and the mods just go along with it. I can see greedy mods seeing the ability to profit from that kind of forceful hand and then complaining about disengagement.

I keep telling my kids that the more you do it, the better it gets. I had to start journaling just to get my handwriting into shape. I don’t like to journal, but need to be able to take legible notes during meetings. So, one fed into the other. Your cursive/script/magic runes look better than most other block print I’m seeing in local High Schools, so keep it up.

Resistant does not mean it can’t get moldy. Just less likely if treated well.

All wooden boards need to be cleaned and well dried before storage to prevent mildew and warping. I wash both sides of my thicker boards even if I just used one so that it doesn’t warp while drying. Also I dry them standing on edge so it dries evenly. Just a longevity thing if you spent good money for a good board. If it’s a $5 board from Walmart, do whatever, just be clean.

Just let the apprentice do it. Boss can’t be too mad at someone just learning.

You got the bones of something that can work. I know plenty of people who have a phobia of mannequins. Having some of the “anomalies” being movement or head turns would crank up the creep factor. I kept going to the vent an door hoping they would be something, so you got environmental things going for you. Have fun with it, I’ll re-check it after a bit.

Interesting game. Got through on second shot once I realized what kinds of anomalies were possible. Might want to add more anomalies the higher up you go instead of sticking to just one per floor so the difficulty ramps and more is at stake as you go. I’ll take some more time later and go above 8 and see how things progress or if it’s just the same. There is a shell here for something very creepy.

My grandfather and his neighbor would sit on the front porch for a couple hours every few days. Neither would say much more than a handful of words, just vibe. Now all of the new-build homes don’t have porches and it makes me sad.
