He’s just too old for this job.

    How old is he?

He’s older than Bill Clinton, and Bill Clinton ended his second term in office almost a quarter century ago.

He’s older than Ruby Bridges, who was the first black student to attend a white school

He’s older than the first commercially available microwave oven.

He’s even older than the transistor.

If Tim Walz served two terms as vice president, then was elected president and served two terms, at the end of his second term as president he still wouldn’t be as old as Donald Trump is today.

He’s been alive longer than Hawaii and Alaska have been US states.

He predates lasers, commercial jet airliners, and the pocket calculator.

He is older than presidential term limits and the CIA.

I mean…so is my dad…and he’s not even to retirement yet.

I wouldn’t have a problem with a (healthy, sane, responsible, democracy-minded) president in their 60s.

Hell, given those conditions, while I wouldn’t love the idea, I’d be okay with a president in their 80s too.

But my main problem is that Trump ticks exactly zero of those boxes.

He was ~30 years old when women were finally allowed to open their own bank accounts.

The transistor one really got me… The transistor made all computing possible. It’s the cornerstone to all modern electronics.

Or, “the cyber”, as Trump calls it.

Sure seems like he isn’t capable of a job that requires him to work a full day every day. You know, like being President.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was exhausted, this campaign is probably the most work he’s done in his life. He’s old, he’s clearly in decline, and although he’s fueled by greed and spite he may be becoming concerned that he’s not winning as clearly as he’d like.

I don’t blame him - it’s amazing how tiring a long shift at McDonald’s can be!

Maybe he shouldn’t have raged so much to wear them out faster. Being calm all the time (from his theory) could’ve easily extended his life a decade or two. Mean it’s probably not a lot of energy at a time but he’s always raging at something it must be draining.

I’m sure he managed to find the energy for the Saudi interview though right?

He’s always got energy for investors. I’m sure he just sees Tulsi and RFK as tools that he doesn’t need anymore.

I just feel sorry for him at this point. Not as much as I feel sorry for America, but I do feel sorry for him. When he dies, he will die not having known the best things in life. No true love, no actual friends, no peace. Money has not bought him happiness. Maybe he was born into a prison of his family’s making, but all he’s done is build up the walls and seal the doors. He’s a tragic, pitiful character rather than a beacon of strength or success.

Erm, make sure you put him in an actual prison too, though. Good luck, Yanks, your tea-drinking cousins still want the best for you despite everything 🇬🇧

Remember soon after taking the presidency, he was bitching that the job was much tougher than he expected, now he’s 4 years older
