It’s a developing story. Claudia Sheinbaum announced that she had made a deal with Trump to delay the 25% tariff for 1 month. As part of the deal, Mexico is placing 10,000 Nation Guard members on the Mexico-US border.
At least it is now in the public record we were sending a shit ton of heavy weapons into Mexico. Love for an actual public investigation not behind closed doors or to detail all of it. The public needs to know how our own intelligence and state actors were involved in gun and drug running. More so who signed off on the orders to do so.
Alas nothing ever happens. If anything maybe Mexico can make what they know public. But nothing ever happens.
