In the holy free market there would be no competition. But if this makes people buy too many Chinese EVs I imagine tariffs will just go up. The same tired old response by western capital. It’s hilarious because capital slowly took apart the nation state and thereby totally crippled the national system. The same system they used to benefit from the public funding of. The pipeline was public funding for research that was then passed off at a fraction of the cost to the “innovators” and privatized. And they broke the system themselves. Truly the greatest minds of our generation.
Too bad Chinese EVs are basically banned in the West
Chinese EVs dominate the Latin American market lol
“people of golf”
Some of my coworkers and I did the math and they’re still cheaper than pretty much every US EV we could buy even with the 100% tariff.

Saw it on rednote
coupled with that and knowing the west’s ultimate allegiance, maybe it’s not such a bad idea for musk to lead the way…
He’s doing great work breaking the system. And he doesn’t even seem to realize it
I want to buy a used Mexican one
I think you would have to pay the 100% tariff if you crossed the border with it. Also dont even know if theyre street certified/legal in the US/
I feel like there is some loophole. Was it Nebraska people used to launder tuned cars through?
I used to think that but apparently the cybertruck didn’t need to be crash-tested so maybe?
