          Keep trying. It took me over 10 years to find the right meds.

          EDIT: This isn’t meant as discouragement. Most people find the right meds way sooner. The point is that it can take a few tries.

      It’s a meme, I wouldn’t take it too seriously. Obviously depression is more complicated than just feeling sad.

    I realized I’m not actually depressed in a mind disorder sort of way because I was very happy during the lockdown when I was paid to just live and do what I want. Turns out it’s just being a slave to capitalism that makes me miserable.

    ‘You’re not depressed, you just have a rough life’ is the dumbest reason to invalidate people’s need for psychiatric help.

    Stop gatekeeping depression and start acknowledging that people can be depressed from all walks of life.
