But the thing is, the AfD can’t win that easily. It’s bad they became this big, but they can’t take over the country that easily. The German political system is well made to prevent another Hitler to take power as easily as Hitler did. The majority of Germany doesn’t like the AfD, only former east Germany voted for them. So yeah, they became bigger then comfortable, but they won’t be able to take power as the majority of the government doesn’t want to work with them.
It’s not a majority. It’s not even a third. However you can blame the majority for their inaction.

John Kay snuck across the wall with his family when he was a little child, made it to America, and started a rock and roll band. This was his song about watching the wall come down on TV as an adult:
