Hey everyone,
Join us on Thursday, April 24, for a new session of Star Citizen Live. Catch us at 8 AM Pacific / 4 PM UTC, on Twitch.
This week, Dave Haddock and Will Weissbaum from the Narrative Team will be answering questions about this year’s ongoing story narratives: The Frontier Fighters’ efforts to run everyone out of Pyro and their rumored attack on Invictus, the ongoing Regen Crisis and what’s being done to address it, as well as Wikelo’s arrival in Stanton.
Drop your questions for the Narrative Team below. See you there!

Some good questions in there.
A few irrelevant questions, but those are mostly not getting upvoted.
Hopefully we get some good answers about their future plans and how to bring storytelling to the players beyond what we’re seeing today.
I really hope they’ll start including more tangible (as in gameplay affecting and in world) elements in the future rather than just throwing them on tablets/mobiGlas and calling it a day. I realise they have to deal with various limitations at the moment so I’m willing to wait for now but I hope they’ll reach out for some low hanging options for the next event or two (why no people protesting in front of hospitals as described in the news article?).
I’m really curious about this episode.
Yeah, I’m really hoping the question with the hospital protestors gets higher up on the list and they address it.
We have screens everywhere throughout various environments that can be repurposed and occassionally play clips. We have seen what they can do with Siege of Orison, so it would be nice if they can actually use those tools to really bring home the experience.
They’ve at least started using something like that for the new pilot/combat training missions (4.1.1 PTU). But the last build I tested it out it was super buggy with the mission giver calling you and repeating the same few lines with every advancement through the mission.
This is the second “proper” narrative event so I’m sure we’ll get there eventually.
How is it used in the training mission? Are you talking about them using the screens or something else?
They used screens+audio with Siege of Orison, right now they’re only playing audio for the new Flight School missions, but I assume they want to play some video call for that as well.
Carbon Pixel just uploaded the first mission here:

Doesn’t look as buggy as the last time I tested it out. So that’s a plus.
Ahh, you meant video calls. I thought we were talking about the physical screens around LZs and was wondering how they approached training scenario (as in a separate instance or in AC). This clears things up. Cheers!
