This speaks to my naiveté, admittedly, but I didn’t actually question the headline for the 2 seconds out took me to reach “The Onion.” Trump may not be a unique evil regarding the wicked hegemon, but he is random enough that incredulousness doesn’t quickly kick in.
Especially since the US Marshalls murdered Michael Reinoehl in Washington state, who was an Antifa activist alleged to have killed a far-right protester, during Trump’s first term.
Yeah it’s not actually that far-fetched, considering how the US has acted toward opposition, historically.
