I can’t bring myself to Star Wars anymore, they broke me… how have they not broken you yet?
Cause I heard during season 1 from enough people here that andor kicks all kinds of ass and it genuinely does. I don’t like star wars for the most part otherwise. Andor is, in spite of that one of the best things I’ve ever seen and I have great taste.
Well you see, I am not interested in literally any star war except for Andor.

I go see star wars for the same reason as I’ve watched the marvel slop: cool explosions and spaceships. Plus nostalgia for Star wars. But Andor is standalone a great show, probably the only show I can truly recommend with no “well if you ignore this part” shit. It’s not explicitly political but it is explicitly political and done very well.

Yea, they all die sadly, the only ok rebel leader after them is leia but she gets sideline by the new gov and eventually kicked out from the galactic senate
I guess it goes to show you what happens when you destroy a fascist governing faction without doing the work of building a committed ideological base and local dual power throughout communities that would otherwise through liberalism turn against you
Karis Nemik might’ve realised this, had he survived. During the construction of the Yavin base would’ve been the ideal time to really push it among the rebellion forces. Had he been there I think he might’ve realised it, especially as he was really really into teaching theory to others.
