Have you ever played pinball? I’m old so I love it. I don’t know how common it is still in the US. Here in the UK you used to find a newer table tucked away in a bar or store rarely, but now you pretty much have to go to a big arcade club type place where there’s multiple and you pay for the day.
Love me some pinball! Am not great at it though. Used to have an old CDrom in the Windows XP days with a few tables from different decades in it.
I’m not great either. If nothing else I don’t get enough opportunities to play it in real life. I remember Windows 95 used to come with a virtual pinball game installed and that was my first introduction to the digital version. Since then I don’t know how many virtual pinball games I’ve had, maybe all of them. It’s the main way I get to play these days.

Indiana Jones pinball. Have a fleeting memory of it from somewhere in my childhood.
That one is really good. The theming is great and it has a nicely balanced and dynamic playfield from what I remember. There used to be one in an old pub when I used to live in the city and I always enjoyed it. I think it ranks pretty highly amongst lists of the best ever too. Top 50 certainly.

I love a burrito but they’re mostly absolutely bland trash here in the UK. Best I ever had by far was a homemade one by a guy I worked with briefly who was Tex-Mex.
The math curriculum was largely about producing worker bees and then a reaction to Sputnik, so a lot of accessible but not really applicable math gets left out. Here’s a sample: say 2 is small. Then 4, 2*2, is smaller, 8 =2*2*2 is smaller still, and so on. Then 255= 2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2-1 is pretty damn close to 0-1 and if you let S be the sum of all nonnegative powers of 2, that is, S=1+2+4+8+16+32+ . . ., which actually makes sense in this context because the terms are going to 0, then 2*S = 2+4+8+16+32+64 . . . = S-1, so subtracting S from both sides, S=-1. Isn’t that neat? To theoretical math people, this is just as valid as real numbers but you can’t launch satellites with it so you never learn it until grad school.

Because math is more like literature than it is like physics. You can just make shit up and see what happens. To be more precise than I was above, what we’re doing is introducing a new absolute value on the rationals, with the new notation |x|_2 to indicate that we’ve selected 2 to be small (you can use any prime number instead of 2).
We say that |2|_2 = 1/2 because why not? Since we’re only caring about divisibility by 2 and not the “usual” size of numbers, we have all odd numbers tied at 1: |1|_2 = |3|_2 = |5|_2 = 1 = |7|_2 = |9|_2 etc.
We also keep some other aspects of the absolute value, like multiplicativity: just as |xy| = |x|*|y|, we want |xy|_2=|x|_2*|y|_2, so |8|_2 = |2|_2*|2|_2*|2|_2 = (1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2) = 1/8.
The two above statements give you the 2-adic valuation of any nonzero integer – |192|_2 = |3|_2*|64|_2 = 1*(1/64) = 1/64. We can extend to rationals using multiplicity again: 1 = |3*(1/3)|_2 = |3|_2*|1/3|_2 = 1*|1/3|_2 = |1/3|_2, so |1/3|_2=1 and similarly, |1/2|_2 = 2.
For further reading, you’ll want to search for p-adics, but I’m not sure about the pedagogy of the first few hits so I guess find one that works for you.

Hiwatt Super Leeds 150 pushed by a Stomp Under Foot Demigorgon, and a whole bunch of time based effects as needed. EHX Canyon, an Avalanche Run, a Walrus Lore, and a few others, plus an echo plex preamp at the end of the drive chain.
Hell yeah. I’ve been looking at the Canyon for a while, but otherwise don’t really have a delay. I’ve been thinking about picking one up, or a boss delay, but it’ll probably be whatever I can get used locally.
I love the shimmer on the canyon and use it almost exclusively for that
