I’m treating myself some new furniture - a chest of drawers and a computer desk. I designed both to fit perfectly in the niche of my bedroom, they clearly look like a set, and the desk has even a cables organiser. Time to say goodbye to my ~40yo wardrobe!

Although I’m pretty sure the wardrobe will become a pantry in the laundry room.

There’s a CBD/THCA shop near me, finally went out and tried their dab rigs with a friend of mine. I had bought herb from them, just never tried their dabs.

It was actually really relaxing! They’re in a decent sized shopping center, so we spent about an hour there having a good time, then went and walked around for awhile before getting food.

    A silver lining of sorts…

A great friend passed away recently. This week started with her memorial service. It was heartbreaking. I cried off and on for two hours. But, as people shared stories of how their lives were brightened by my friend’s thoughtfulness, care, and friendship, I was reminded of how much good one person can bring into the world. She believed in radical kindness and selfless generosity and truly lived it in daily life. So, despite this being a terrible situation, I am grateful for the reminder that I can follow her example. Now to go and make it happen, one day at a time.

My job is pretty good even if it’s difficult and long hours.

But I miss one of my friends quite a bit. It’s hard to go on without them.
