A whole bunch of things, but even the way I talk about myself and my struggles has collateral damage. Calling myself a “basement dweller” just puts shame on people who share my struggles, even cursing myself for getting excited about Zohran’s win and then posting “fell for it again” dismisses the hard work leftists still put in.

As a fellow person who should stop being an asshole, I can say that it really ought to be easier than it is.
Yeah it’s hard not to be bitter and jaded with like everything currently going on.
As a bitter cynic, I get it… I find myself at the same crossroads every time I start being dismissive and pedantic. Shit kind of sucks right now and it’s sometimes hard to regulate my emotions and not let them negatively affect how I articulate and express my thoughts.
