I loved how the ::: spoiler spoiler Soylent green ::: reveal was flipped on its head right away. It was pretty obvious and having ::: spoiler spoiler John Cena ::: explain it was pretty funny

Just FYI: Inline spoilers like that don’t work, so you’ve just revealed the reveal I’ve been waiting all week to see 😆

No worries, though. Life’s about the journey, not the destination.

Spoilers need to be on their own line

Sorry about that! And interesting - I used the Summit for Lemmy app and the message preview and actual message work perfectly on my end with how I did it. My spoilers are concealed until expanded

I liked it, although I wish they picked an actor that’s a little less desperate to be in everything, lol.

But…immediately deflating the cliffhanger from last week was a slick move. I think all the people who wanted this to be a sci-fi invasion thriller must have moved on, by now…:)

My immediate thought after last episodes cliffhanger was… So what? Do we care? And sure enough, we don’t.

I wonder if this, combined with the helplessness the hive seems to have regarding food, is meant to highlight just how much the hive isn’t what Carol wants it to be.

Carol wants the hive to be an enemy. Ah ha! They’re eating people! That’s evil enemy behavior! But… it’s really not a big deal.
